Trash2Art Exhibition and Workshop

After realising the extent of Dominica's pollution problem, WildDominique, together with Vetivert Art Gallery and local artist SHADI, decided to take it a step further.  We called upon the creative minds in Dominica to take part in an art exhibition featuring pieces made out of thrown away items or everyday household products.  The intention was to show the public the value of items were label as "trash" through recycling and

Beach Cleanup Campaign

We may be a tiny island in this grand world but what we do affects everyone and everything.

With marine pollution on the rise, Dominica is taking action.  WildDominique has teamed up with community members and environmentally-conscious organisations to reduce our impact on the world's oceans.  Every other month, we rally communities to cleanup Dominica's coastline teaching them the importance of proper garbage disposal for both human and environmental health and how to turn this "garbage" into something of economic value through recycling.

We have so far removed over 10,000 pieces of trash across Dominica with the help of 8 communities!
